Support Dr. Phil-afel Foundation — Donate to Change Lives in Cape Town

Dr. Phil-afel Foundation • March 16, 2026

There are moments in a community's history when the right support at the right time changes everything. In Hanover Park, Cape Town, those moments are happening right now — in a classroom, in a kitchen, in a reintegration programme, and in the hands of children who deserve a future as bright as anywhere else in the country. Dr. Phil-afel Foundation NPC is there for those moments. And we need your help to stay there.

We are a registered South African nonprofit (NPO #2024/051687/08) with Public Benefit Organisation status (PBO #930083356) and full Section 18A approval from SARS. Every donation to Dr. Phil-afel Foundation is tax-deductible under South African law. Every rand goes directly to active, documented community programmes in Cape Town.

Who We Are

Dr. Phil-afel Foundation NPC was established in 2024 with a single mission: to build a financially sustainable ecosystem of community impact in Cape Town's most under-resourced communities. We operate at the intersection of education, youth development, and community rehabilitation — three areas where early intervention creates the most durable change.

We are based in Muizenberg, Cape Town. Our programmes are active in Hanover Park — one of the Cape Flats communities most in need of sustained, professional community support. We are not a campaign. We are an institution being built for the long term, with legal standing, financial accountability, and transparent governance.

Our sister organisation, Omni Wellness Media, supports the Foundation's financial sustainability through commercial wellness, travel, and digital media operations — including the ROAM by Omni eSIM partnership with RoamBuddy, which links travel connectivity to ECD programme funding through a Buy One, Sponsor One model.

Our Active Programmes

Early Childhood Development — Hanover Park
Weekly learning sessions and monthly educational outings for children aged 2–10. Facilitated by trained ECD practitioners. Fundraising goal: R75,000. Every contribution funds learning materials, transport, facilitator time, and programme infrastructure.

Youth Education — Backing Zacri's Dream
Zacri grew up in Hanover Park with a dream of becoming a chef. He needs support to complete his matric. Your donation funds his schooling fees, study materials, and the mentorship to get him there.

Prison Rehabilitation — Gavin's Story
Gavin is rebuilding his life after the correctional system. Community reintegration reduces reoffending, rebuilds families, and creates safer neighbourhoods. Your donation funds the support structures that make reintegration possible.
