He is a young man from Hanover Park with a clear goal, a strong character, and a matric year ahead of him that could change everything. We are raising R20,000 to make sure financial hardship does not stand in the way of it.
Who Is Zacri?
Zacri is a bright, respectful, and hardworking 2026 matric student from Hanover Park. He has been actively involved in Dr. Phil-Afel Foundation community programmes, where he consistently shows up, supports the people around him, and carries himself with a sense of responsibility and commitment that his peers and facilitators take notice of.
He is completing his matric at Wellington School of Skills, a specialised institution focused on practical, hands-on, skills-based learning. It is exactly the right environment for someone who has always learned best by doing. His goal is specific and grounded: to become a professional chef.
By supporting Zacri, you are not just covering a school fee. You are investing in a young person who has already shown you exactly who he is — and who he intends to become.
Why He Needs Your Support
Zacri lives with his mother, grandmother, and siblings. His family is currently facing financial hardship, and the costs of his matric year, combined with outstanding fees from the previous year have placed real strain on the household.
He cannot control the financial pressures his family faces. But he can control how he shows up. And every week, without fail, he does. This campaign is about making sure that what is outside his control does not undo what he has built.

Every rand raised goes directly to Zacri's education, nothing else:
- School fees: R2,000
- Hostel fees: R3,500
- Outstanding prior-year school fees: included in goal
- School uniforms: rain jacket, pullover, jersey, tracksuit, tie, scarf, cap
- Transport to and from school: R350 per month
Total goal: R20,000. Transparent. Fully costed. Every single rand goes directly to Zacri's schooling.

In simple terms: the amount you donate can be deducted from your taxable income when you submit your return to SARS.
